Hello to all, welcome to therichpost.com. In this post, I will tell you, How to send mail on localhost in Laravel? Laravel is one of the top php mvc framework.

I did lot of searching for this and tried myself a lot but In the end I did it.

Send email on Localhost, we need to do some settings in .env file. For send email, we can use SMTP,  Mailgun,Mailtrap etc.

Here is the following settings need to do in .env file:
MAIL_DRIVER=smtp
MAIL_HOST=smtp.mailtrap.io
MAIL_PORT=2525
MAIL_USERNAME=************
MAIL_PASSWORD=************

 you need to create account on mailtrap and you can get mail on mailtrap account.

After this you, run below command into your command prompt:
php artisan config:cache
