WordPress hooks(add_action, add_filter) give us the power to edit or change the code without interruption into the files and this is the best thing about wordpress. Here is the working and tested code for Woocommerce Hook – Add icon on a Single Product Gallery Image and you need to add this into yours WordPress theme’s functions.php file:

I have added image and you can use icon and whatever you want.

Above Hook will not work in Latest version so I will give you temporary code hack and add this into your theme’s functions.php file:
