Hello, welcome to therichpost.com. In this post, I will tell you Custom jQuery regular expression validation for Date, time, string. I personally like jquery very much. Most of my code is full with jquery. When I stuck in php or other language then that stuckness I remove with jquery code.

Here is the regular expression validation for Date:

function checkDate(value) {
var filter = /^([0-9]){1,2}\/([0-9]){1,2}\/([0-9]){4}$/;
if (filter.test(value))
return true;
return false;
}

Here is the regular expression validation for Time:

function checkTime(value) {
var filter = /^([0-24]){2}:([0-24]){2} [AP]M$/;
if (filter.test(value))
return true;
return false;
}

There are so many jquery code, tricks and i will let you know all. Please do comment if you any query related to this post. Thank you. Therichpost.com
