How to limit wordpress content with text count?

Hello, welcome to therichpost.com. In this post, I will tell you How to limit wordpress content with text count? WordPress is the best cms. I personally need this code many of my wordpress projects. Sometimes we have lots of content in wordpress post but at some point we need to show some of the content part like below images:

We will use php substr functions for this. For content we will use get_the_content() function.

Here is the complete working code and you need to add this code in your theme’s template file or single file or where you want limit the content:
